Nanette S. Newton
Nanette entered the new homes real estate market in 1983 with Whistler Corporation (builders/general contractors), overseeing its office operations. She joined Howard Perry and Walston as an onsite sales associate in 1986. She was promoted to Sales and Marketing Manager in 1991 and then Senior Sales and Marketing Manager in 1993. She managed a portfolio of neighborhoods ranging from single site communities to master planned golf course communities with sales volume in excess of 60 million dollars per year. Neighborhood awards include numerous Parade of Homes Winners, Mayor's Award of Excellence, Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence (MAME), and Million Dollar Circle Awards. Her personal achievements include the Morale Award, Volume Leader, multiple Gold and Silver Medallion Awards and Sales and Marketing Manager of the Year Awards for 1193 & 1994. Triangle Sales and Marketing Awards include Volume Leader 1988 and Volume Gold Award 1990.
Nanette is currently an active member of the Triangle Sales and Marketing Council of the Wake County Home Builders Association and has served on their executive council for numerous years. She is also a member of the Raleigh/Wake Board of Realtors. Nanette currently holds the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation, has successfully completed all Institute of Residential Marketing courses, and it a licensed Real Estate Broker for the State of North Carolina.
Shelley Caldwell-Mitchiner
Shelley Caldwell Mitchiner has been involved in the real estate business since 1976 when she became a Residential Builder and Real Estate Broker. Shelley has been a participant in the Wake County Home Builders Association Dream Home Showcase, as well as Vice-Chairperson in 1993 and Chair in 1994 and 1995 of this prestigious event. Additionally, Shelley is the recipient of a Parade of Homes Award and has actively judged Parade of Homes throughout the state. In 1993, Shelley also won a MAME Award and has been recognized in the industry for creative and innovative home designs.
Shelley received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Methodist University in 1975 and her Master of Science degree in 1997. Shelley continues her educational training by attending National Home Building Seminars and Real Estate Continuing Education Classes. Shelley is an active member of the Home Builders Association and has served on the Board of Directors since 1991 as well as serving on various other committees. Additionally, Shelley is a member of the Raleigh-Wake Board of Realtors.
Cristiana Walkley
Cristiana is the Marketing Director for appleTREE New Homes & Land. She has a BA in international marketing from Pace University. She worked with Combe Inc. as a sales and marketing analyst and advertising coordinator for over four years, she has also worked for Cushman & Wakefield of South Florida in marketing and graphic design. She relocated to Raleigh in 1999, where she continues her career with appleTREE New Homes & Land.
Cristiana provides builders and developers the same services they expect from an advertising agency with the added comfort of knowing that their marketing efforts will be handled by someone who truly understands the mind set of the building industry.
